| The
Flower Collection
This
collection was inspired by - as well as flowers
- tiaras and historical flower jewellery, as
well as designs from the Art Deco period, coupled
with a bold aesthetic.
Photo-etched flower petal shapes, alternating
in colour (silver and oxidised silver, or silver
and gold plate) are layered together to form
a flower, which is set against a strong band
or wire of silver, or a cast silver rose stem
(with thorns!)
The delicacy of the flowers contrasts strongly
with the strength of the main body of the pieces
of work. This collection consists of brooch
pins, torques, necklaces, bangles, cuffs, earrings
and tiaras.
