Sophy Reid is a contemporary jewellery designer/maker, based in the South West. Inspired by the marine and plant life in the region, as well as historical jewellery and modern fashions, her jewellery is contemporary, bold and feminine.

Working mainly in silver, Sophy's jewellery contains rich contrasts in colour and texture, such as silver with black (oxidised silver), silver with gold or gold plated silver; and a high polished finish with a scratch finish.

Sophy works with such techniques as hand-forging, piercing, die pressing, oxidising, gold plating, etching and milling.
